Apartmenthouse

I have examined everyday moments in life which easily can go by without noticing. Isn`t it the ordinary moments that create happiness, that are the most valuable? Focus lies in the beauty of everyday life, where the sofa is the centre of my own existence.

During the pandemic year we stayed at home; no traveling, no social gatherings, no… Life became more stagnant. When there was no point on planning or dreaming about the upcoming whatsoever I wondered what could I do instead? What makes one happy?  I started to observe my immediate surroundings; look at it with a new appreciation and interest.

The materials used are recycled jeans, linen, cotton and woollen fabrics.  Technique used is textile intarsia.

These art pieces are a bit smaller in their size, about 15 cm.
