GEOMETRICAL FLAX EXPERIMENT

Textile artwork made of linen, recycled denim and handmade paper which consist small parts of recycled clothes and flax yarn. Black linen is recycled, natural linen is new produced. Technique used is textile intarsia. Work is handstitched.

This artwork was made during my artist residency  at Hemslöjden i Östergötland. During the working period I experimented with flax fibers, fabrics and yarns; exploring the possibilities of the material.

Artwork is approx. 20 * 23 cm
